    Is there much in the way of other evidence besides the account of the victim?

    This raises the eternal question of how you get to “beyond a reasonable doubt” in a he-said/she-said situation where both of the parties are determined to be at least of reasonably similar credibility? That hasn’t been determined yet, but for the sake of discussion, let’s say it has.

    I know very few rape allegations are false, but I don’t think macro statistics about rape accusions are going to be considered a relevant factor for determining “beyond a reasonable doubt” guilt in any individual case, are they?

        I have no knowledge of the case, details, or circumstances, but I feel the need to advocate the position that women are very likely to ask for group sex and then lie later for profit, and that’s far more common than actual rape.

        And it’s not misogyny if it’s the truth.
