    I don’t have HBO, so I love how the main story is posted on YouTube. I watch it with my cup of coffee as I start my work for the day.

    Also, I don't watch Days of Our Lives, but I love those two for making that clip & I hope Noujain is able to watch it.

          I’m half Dutch and a quarter Danish. I’m disgusted with what I saw in that clip. The Netherlands and Scandinavia are all supposed to be pretty liberal and accepting. I can understand the Netherlands’ lack of space, somewhat, I mean they have had to fill in shoreline to create more land, but at least they could facilitate in getting the refugees settled where there is some, even if it means contributing financially to get them settled in more spacious countries (like Canada. We have tons of space in Canada. We have one of the lowest population densities in the world), and certainly help in processing paperwork.

          My Oma and Opa, if they were still alive, would be disgusted with the Dutch attitude towards the refugee crisis. They’d be pretty disgusted by Canada, too. They weren’t refugees, but Canada accepted them as immigrants shortly after WWII, when their home country was picking up the pieces after German occupation. They were thankful to Canada for liberating the Netherlands, and they spent the rest of their lives working their asses off contributing to society, here.

        Sometimes I worry about how much I love John Oliver. I would gladly elect him president-for-life in charge of everything, to whom I would turn over my life savings.

        Then I realize Donald Trump is still getting traction as a legitimate presidential candidate, and I decide my priorities are in line after all.
