If you really think about it, a vegan diet heavy in these vegetables is exploiting the living microorganisms that contaminate them. So, vegans should really stop eating food, period.

Vegans only care if the resources they consume cause any undo suffering to a living animal. The last I checked, microorganisms are incapable of suffering.

The problem is that the vegetables are often bathed in run-off from feed lots and when was the last time you saw a porta potty in a field?

Ew, more reasons to grow your own. You don’t even need land, you’d be surprised how much you can grow in planters on a patio- inc. baby cucs.

Yup the meat industry is responsible for salmonella and e coli getting on vegetables from poor disposal of animal shit. When you buy meat you are helping to kill humans too.

This is good to know, but Americans don’t really need another reason to not eat vegetables.

We have a telegram here and I am supposed to read it to you. It reads:

    “Fuck vegetables. Signed, Meat.”

I was about to say, shouldn’t that be a memo from the National Pancake Institute that reads “Fuck Waffles”?

This is why I deep fry all of my vegetables. Can’t be too safe (or beer battered.)

I had black cabbage on Monday and the gas I got afterwards made me fear the vegetable.

You should try Jerusalem artichokes! There’s a reason they are nicknamed fartichokes.

Does Europe have this problem? I frequently thravel through the UK and Europe and never see stories like this, are they just better at hiding them or is it just us?
