    I’m not a politician, but:

    1) Is there a world where Obama wouldn’t back his own VP?

    2) If he was going to be making demands for endorsement, wouldn’t he pick some position more powerful than VP?

I may not be remembering correctly, but it seems that Clinton took a looong time to back Gore.

I think that’s true. But isn’t it usually just waiting to get closer to the convention?

Same. I'm also a little disappointed this isn't actually the story.

Last year, Gov. Patrick came to town to speak at my godparents’ church. I am not a churchgoer, but I am a dirty liberal, so my godparents invited me to attend church with them and to watch his speech.

He was fucking incredible. Seriously. The speech—sermon, really, but who’s counting?—was brilliantly written and delivered, and I got the chance to meet him after (in the parish reception hall) and tell him so.

I would 100% support this rumor.

Is this before or after his big reveal on CNN (Because fuck Fox) that he’s really a Lizard-People-King from the underworld?

No, he defeated the Crab People in the battle for Mars.

That’s was what the rover was all about, documenting for lizard-people history.

      This is the proof.

    Dear Joe Biden,

I know you are a good person. But you can be a little too trusting and naive at times.

If at any point during the “Paint the White House black” campaign you are asked to appear in blackface, just say no! It is not a good idea. It will not help you appeal to more people.

    Thanks.

There seems to be FAR more excitement among conservatives and Republicans about a possible Biden run than among liberals (who are more interested in Sanders) and Democrats (who are mostly behind Clinton). Even Darth Cheney has endorsed a Biden candidacy. That alone tells you it would be a terrible idea.

That’s mostly because they want to see some good ol’ Democratic infighting. They don’t see any of the current candidates (Bernie included) as posing a real threat to Hillary securing the nomination.

That in itself doesn’t tell you it’s a terrible idea. It tells you that they think Biden would be easier to beat-which may or may not be true. Epistemic closure is a hallmark of Republican reasoning.

The other thing is they’re hoping for a dirty nomination fight like the Republicans are currently undergoing. Despite the horse-race and Emailghazi narrative, Clinton still looks pretty solid for the nomination. They don’t want to be the only party with a clown car.

Surely this scheme has something to do with Obama’s ongoing-yet-never-seems-to-actually-start “invasion” of Texas and the Southwest.

Any conservatives on here who might be kind enough to give us an update on Obama’s TX invasion - they’ve all gone terribly mum on it the last month or so...I guess perhaps they’re all busy stocking up on vinegar.

It was thwarted by the brave and decisive actions of Greg Abbott and the Oath Keepers.

No, really. This is what they actually believe happened.
