      Yeah, what a bizarre thing to say. Also, wouldn’t a first grader be more likely to be missed than a toddler since they would be enrolled in school, which just started in most districts?

    If there were ever a day on the job to come home from and just drink heavily, I imagine this would be one of them.

    I hope they catch whoever did this before another body shows up. I cannot imagine how the family will feel that this was their child’s end if they’re identified. :/

      I’m not entirely sure you’re right about that. Usually when you hear of filicide (or any other sort of family member killing) the parent shoots the kid or puts the house on fire to kill their family (something that happened recently here) or they were essentially beaten to death. It’s a big jump from that to actually dismembering the corpse.

      I mean, maybe it was a family member, but all the more reason to find the person - especially if they are around any more children.
