      The false ceiling that you see is basically ultra light particle board squares sitting in a thin aluminum lattice. Sits anywhere from 18” to a few feet below the structural ceiling. Very easy to jostle enough to have any attached light banks/ballast free if one were to slam a car through a door at any kind of speed. The whole ceiling probably shifted like a puzzle on a table that was bumped into. I’m actually surprised more ceiling tiles didn’t fall.

    the heartbreak remains crippling and I wouldn’t want that to change. our outrage and grief needs to guide us toward transformitive action- but everything about living in this moment overwhelms me- how could it not? how do we best use these feelings? keep ourselves from being paralyzed?
