    At my school, every dorm had signs pointing to where you were supposed to go along with some attempt at light-hearted fun/bad jokes.

    My sophomore year, however, there was one sign that went far beyond the pale, and I remember it to this day.

    “[DORM] this way,” it said. But underneath that it said, “SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE.” It was 2005, and the Half Blood Prince had just come out. Disgusting.

      Great catch but maybe that is what they meant? Their original sign read:

      “We are a service fraternity. We know that you will have a hole in your heart now that your daughter has left your home. Please let us help. We can come over and pretend to be your child and ask for your advice. We could go hunting together or maybe take the boat out for some fishin’. Throw the old pigskin around? Please, someone, love us.”

    WHY is “flicking the bean” even a phrase though? I’ve never understood it

    If you’re using the colloquial phrase as instruction for getting a girl off you will not be pleased with the results. Nor will your ladyfriend.
