While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

Why can’t these people ever just say, ‘hey, we fucked up.’? Why does it always have to porn, or some other extraneous thing that led their pure hearts to stray from the wounded feet of their fictitious God?

I watch porn. My neighbours watch porn. My friends watch porn, even my married friends. I have yet to hear from any one of them that ‘gaping Russian slut creampie gang bangs in Brazil’ had led them to create an online profile to cheat on their spouse, touch their sisters “over the clothes” and demand the rolling back of civil rights.

I hope someone gives him syphilis and his nose falls off.

This is blatant deflection of blame. The way it reads is, “I looked at porn, and the porn made me sign up and provide cc info to Ashley Madison.”

Anyway, I won’t celebrate someone in the public sphere finally showing a glimmer of integrity, but I will say that the guy is doing the abnormal thing and actually facing it head on (to a degree).

  Let’s put something in perspective: this guy has learned throughout his life that as long as he gives apologies he can still get away with shit and not face consequences.
  
  So he can molest his sisters and as long as he has a couple of days of embarrassment in front of a community of people, he’s still free to continue to live his life physically unfettered. For any other person, it would have been a horrifying experience and probably would have had them re-examine their lives.
  
  This asshole goes on to crusade to take away the rights of others while touting himself (and his family) and then pays a website to help him cheat on his wife while he tells Gay Rights Activists what they want is an affront to god and all creation.
  
  Fuck this guy. Fuck people like him. His apologies are worthless.
