The psoriasis must be how she and Kim K. became friends. “Life is like, so hard!” “Oh, I know, right? We have it so bad!” “Let’s take a selfie!”

Psoriasis is pure hell. Unadulterated hell. If she has any, she has suffered rejection and torment.

It’s an auto immune disease. It can shorten your life span by 30 percent. It’s linked to heart disease and obesity.

I'm no fan of either woman, but as a psoriasis sufferer, I feel a lot of empathy.

That's fair. I didn't really realize it was more than just a chronic rash (which would certainly be frustrating by itself!)

Young woman changes career path because of health reasons and personal feelings about sexualization in the modeling industry, and we mock her for it?

Look, it bothers me too that she’s made more than I, an educator, ever will working in fashion and entertainment but that’s not something that she caused, and has a lot more to do with larger problems about how our society overvalues celebrities.

I believe you and several other commenters are grossly overthinking this piece.

I mean, maybe. Honestly, I’m not really offended, just confused by the tone. I guess it just seems click-baity, which if it is, then I suppose it worked, I clicked.

I like her, she seems really clever and was always keen to not come off as ‘just’ a model and show her personality. Really not enjoying this snarky article about a young woman using her position and privilege to highlight the problem of sexual harassment in the modeling industry.

She has a unique personality & doesn’t seem like a model at all. I didn’t get where the attitude (in the comments) is coming from because she is rich & famous, but we celebrate other rich & famous women celebs too. I thought the article is clever, but I don’t get she’s mocked down here.

Why is this article so negative? Am I misreading the tone? I feel that we should be praising her for walking out on an industry that misuses young females across the globe, and where many have done this silently, she is using her continued presence in the media to start a conversation about these issues. I’d commend her for this rather than mocking her.

It got stolen years ago, but that album was right up there with Boys For Pelé and How We Quit The Forest, my freshman year of college. My roommate decided she would commute before the first week was over. LOL

Oh gosh, I thought she had died... I genuinely like the girl, Idon’t really know why. She seems cool and nice to hang around with. Glad she didn’t overdose (my first thought).

For those keeping score: we hate Lena Dunham, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Anne Hathaway. Cara Delevigne is not hated (yet), but she’s on notice.
