Man, men with domestic violence convictions just can’t get a fair shake in the dating world. Don’t those bitches understand his ex was crazy?

He spoke with KPRC 2 in a jailhouse interview, in which he called Valerie “no good Samaritan” and complained that women in general treat him unfairly because he has a criminal record.

“That bitch was a shitty parent, but let’s talk about how bitches be unfair to ME.”

Fuck outta here with that shit.

Yeah, he had a criminal record for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. What lady wouldn’t want to get all over that? It’s not like he had a warrant out for unpaid parking tickets or something.

This whole thing is a horrible tragedy. The guy should never have been able to get within a mile of this family with his track record.

But can we talk for a second about the fact that his assault charge was for pushing a woman’s head against a refrigerator, and not for beating a child with a belt during the same incident? Why is assault not assault if it’s against a defenseless child? Ugh.

I don’t think he ever actual managed to beat his son, did he? It says he pushed her head into the fridge after she stopped him from beating his son with a belt. I’m still not sure if it would be attempted assault, or if they could have charged him if he’d succeeded, but at least in this case, he didn’t actually get a chance, because that kids mother was obviously far more caring of her children than he was.

On rereading it you may be right. I took it to mean stopped an ongoing beating, but maybe she prevented the beating. Either way she stepped in to protect her son from a violent man and was both caring and brave.

Who the fuck put this monster on the radio? Why “validate” his experience for him by bearing witness to it? And how many fellow monsters might have been listening and heard validation for their own violence and control? This seems so irresponsible.

How many more stars can I give you for this? When will folks in the media, from The New York Times on down to local radio and TV, realize that they have influence over events based on what they choose to put on the air? To maniacs like Conley and Roof, publicity IS validation. Other than comprehensive gun control, (why could Conley get a gun?), this is the next most effective prevention strategy: stop giving publicity to murdering monsters.

This was my exact response. I'm gobsmacked that this radio station thought it was a good idea to speak to a man in prison who's been charged with killing 8 people, let alone giving him a platform for his fucked up reasoning behind killing said 8 people. Fuck that station- I hope they get a serious backlash for a this.

    Fuck that fucking guy.

That poor family. I cannot imagine the terror that woman and her family must have lived in. WHY do we let people like this out of prison? Obviously this was going to be the end result of allowing him to go free.

You gotta wonder. In California, the amount of criminals being released is getting higher and higher. And, not just petty criminals, either. Murderers, kidnappers, and so on. It’s not a pretty sight.

I live in California and supported and continue to support prop 47. I have not heard anything about violent criminals being released en masse here.

That said, I think the issue here is not prison terms in general. Rather, it is the sentencing that comes specifically with crimes committed against women and children. In this country we view theft and drug abuse as worse and worthy of harsher sentencing than domestic violence, rape, and all forms of child abuse. It’s appalling.

“They were growing up to be monsters, they were disrespectful, rude in school. I’m not saying they’re dead because of that. I’m not even saying I killed them.” Conley said.

You don’t have to say it asshole. That’s why we have evidence and trials. But hey, at least they’re not disrepecting you anymore right?!

Obviously he only shot his ex and her husband, *coincidentally* someone else came in and used the same gun to kill everyone else. He can’t ever catch a break! Poor him!

Hey, once he fucks a woman, she’s forever his property, regardless of, you know, legal divorce and remarriage! Divorce and remarriage is just disrespectful, for pete’s sake. Anyone can see that, surely!

i’m sure that would go down really well - remember how it worked out for the woman who fired warning shots at her abuser, she got something like 20 years in prison.
