    Does anyone else have a slight feeling of anti-abortion, God, heartbeats at 2 weeks and life from the moment of conception here?

    I don’t mean to be inflammatory, the first video seemed a little staged, and I had a feeling of bull shit. This video just seems... Off. Idk. I’m not joking or trying to be a prick. Anyone else?

    The first literal heartbeat doesn’t happen generally until the 5th week. If she got pregnant at the end of her last cycle, she might have been 6 weeks at the time of the test. Without going to an OB, you have no clue what the time frame of conception is.

    A miscarriage at this stage would be unnoticeable. It would be similar to regular flow menstruation.

    All my spidey senses point to hype and attention grabbing titles. Who knows, and who would dare confront them about it?

      Ya for our second pregnancy I was only 6 weeks and the Obgyn could barely see a heart beat the office doesn't even check until 8-10 weeks but I was there for something else and she was just curious.

      Same here. Ping is off the chart. I’m usually skeptical of people video blogging through the darkest times of their lives. Rings hollow to me. I guess it can be therapeutic and everyone processes grief differently but I just can’t shake the sense this is an attention grab.

      That said, I really hope I’m wrong and that they are getting all of the support they need through a difficult time. If I’m not wrong it’ll just drive me further into my dark, soulless hole of skepticism.

      The fact that the dude in particular just reeks of every aspiring actor I’ve ever met, and the wife’s not far off. In the first video, her “I’m so excited to be making breakfast for my kids” face barely changed when it became “I’m so excited to have another kid to make breakfast for.” In all honesty I watched the first one with the sound off, as I do most of these things, so I don’t know, maybe he verbalized what he was doing in the beginning and the moment of surprise never showed? But with the sound off it looked an awful lot like a plastered on smile that didn’t change one iota from start to finish. Fucking actors. I feel like an insensitive asshole for this rant, but my father went through a miscarriage when I was young and I remember how private and awful it was, and I’m getting NONE of that from these two. Everyone grieves their own way, I know, but they acted like bad actors in the first video and this only reads even stronger.

      Only they know the truth. This is sad any way you look at it. I will never understand people’s need to overshare and become viral sensations. To me everyting is sketchy the minute somebody quits their job to post in Youtube. It’s not even helpful stuff, like hundreds of channels that actually contribute to stuff. It’s ~their life~.

      Right there with you. I think they’re just one of many couples vying for one of the open programming slots at TLC now that the Duggars are gone. With that many Youtube subscribers I wouldn’t be surprised if they werent already in talks which is why he quit his job.
