    I don’t know why this myth persists. This mans career is the Dali stilt of Hollywood. I just don’t get it.

      Sure,

      The Dali stilt is a visual metaphor that he employed in his paintings. These were very thin spindly armatures that propped up objects of greater mass. Essentially saying “reality as we know it is a fragile construct, one that we “prop up” ourselves, with our collective recognition and belief in that reality”. Much like Woody Allen’s “genius”. I hope I’ve done a decent job of making that understandable. Sometimes my thoughts get ahead of me and I don’t always do a good job communicating.

      Also the guy is a massive creep, why would you want to work with him?

    Woody Allen is undoubtedly a creep, definitely a predator, and almost certainly a molestor. And yet I truly love his films. I’ve seen every one. I own several. I am that person who struggles with loving the art of a monstrous artist.

      Well, Polanksi was convicted by a jury, and Cosby has been convicted by overwhelming testimony and the media, but I don’t think Allen has been convicted of anything except dating his partner’s (legal-aged) daughter. Doesn’t seem fair to lump the convicted rapists with Allen.

    I mean if you’re going to be a public incestual pedophile and have a daughter-wife, you might as well go all the way and add a daughter-sister-wife. I can see why he tried to make that happen.

    I just always find it strange that people weren’t sure he was a pedophile when he married a girl that he met as child and pretty much raised as her father while dating and having a child with her mother. Like no one should ever have been in his movies if you’re against artistic endeavors by pedophiles.
