    Has the constant reminding of folks about the SecureDrop resulted in any decent sources or information? I mean, for the amount of times we see it mentioned, it ought to be a gold mine. Otherwise, it’s getting to be like the 500 days of Kristin thing.

      Well, Gawker Media seems to think that unhinged conspiracy-theorist escorts bent on blackmail / outing people and anonymous third parties who were not actually witness to an incident they claim to have occurred are “decent” sources, so I suppose it depends on what you definition of “decent” is.

      It’s hilarious : they set it up to seem like it’s going to lead to some important political leak, but what they’re really hoping for is some b-grade celebrity who’s sexual preference hasn’t been announced publicly yet doing blow off a seal.

    JK, I have a request:

    When Gawker Media makes changes or does maintenance to Kinja, could you guys put up a banner or something announcing it so we’ll know any glitches aren’t our computers or our bandwidth and that we’ll need to clear our caches, etc. after the changes are made? Just a little courtesy that would make your readers’ lives easier.
