    Oh PETA, always trolling. Showing naked bodies does nothing for animals. But it does always get press coverage. Of course if SeaWorld had to close, it wouldn’t change anything because the orcas would end up being sold to marine parks in other countries. Not a single one is releasable according to NOAA guidelines. And these sanctuaries that people talk about don’t really exist in a capacity to house dozens of large marine mammals, nor is there a feasible funding plan to build, maintain, and staff them.

      The only place capturing orcas in the present day is Russia. Those captures have either stayed in Russia or been sold to China. I’m not really sure what would make the Russians stop since they have a history of doing more of what upsets others.

      so this is only tangentially related but the other day I was at a friends house and I saw a skunk run around the side of her building and jump into the basement window. I told her about it thinking she’d be concerned but she was like “yeah a bunch of cats and the skunk are living down there together” and I was like “LIKE PEPE LE PEW!!!

      PeTA is made up of attention whores? They just LOVE to have a bunch of young, thin, pretty white girls get naked (except for some lettuce) and pretend its about animal rights. They don’t give a shit about animals, their euthanasia rate is higher than that of your local dog pound.

      take away the caption and this could just as easily be about penguins or black and white cats.

      Really, showing a toy orca crammed into a tiny fish bowl would be more effective at illustrating orca captivity.
