    Comparing lesbians visually to men is some seriously tired ass homophobia and it isn’t fucking funny. It’s homophobic and it’s transphobic. Ruby Rose looks like herself. So does Justin Beiber.       Yeah, it’s almost like members of their own communities can make different jokes about themselves than outsiders can. Funny how that works. Next you’ll be telling me how Black people use the N word why can’t white people? Have you ever seen the SNK skit ‘Dyke & Fats’?     I have no opinion on Ruby Rose one way or the other other than finding her underwhelming. But lots of people on Orange Is the New Black still associate with Taryn Manning despite her history of domestic violence and girlfriend beating. You can see how she might find that acceptable. (And the fact that DV is generally not taken as seriously, which is sad since it isn’t taken seriously enough as is, when it’s in the queer community is actually a major problem.)

      More than three of them are queer, whether bi or gay or whatever I can’t say. Danielle Brooks was openly dating her girlfriend but I think they recently broke up. Taylor Schilling is openly dating Carrie Brownstein. Lea D and Samira Wiley are out. Oh, and obviously Ruby Rose if she counts as a cast member.

      The victim of Taryn’s assault was her live in make-up artist... There is no such thing as a live in make-up artist.
