    I do not understand why you would only take cars around NYC.

    1)It’s expensive

    2) Even if money is no object, we have some horrendous and horrible traffic in this here city

    Cabs are made for when you’re wasted at 3am and when the L/F/A whatever other fucking train has decided to be stupid is broken.

      Some people would rather sit in traffic, alone and in air conditioning, than wait for public transportation that has to be shared with a bunch of strangers.

      Conde pays for car service for its editors. Which now that I think of it, with their move to 1WTC, is hilarious because you know that they are sitting in the clusterfuck that is FiDi and the security around that building for like an hour every day.

      For what it’s worth, she seems to have a lot of photos of the subway too.

    I’ve said it on here before, and I’ll say it again now: Eva Chen is one of the nicest people I ever met in fashion. You can tell if someone is a genuinely nice, good person if they are nice to interns, and she was seriously the nicest - and clearly so smart. Facebook’s employees are lucky to have her.

    On another note, this is interesting because she’s always been editorial and this role sounds more like it’d be the equivalent of a magazine publisher role. I bet she’s fed up of the print editorial world. Can’t really blame her.

      And she’s really great on Instagram. She doesn’t just post empty plugs of products and she’s one of the few people who actually tries to answer all the questions in the comments. This sounds like a perfect fit for her.
