Oh ok, thanks! I’ll be wearing nose clips from now on.

Btw, 0-8 people are affected by this every year in this country. Not really anything to ever worry about.

So I guess you just have to be able to pay through the nose for a really pristine beach, then.

So it won’t be robots or aliens or global warming that will be humanity’s undoing. We will be destroyed by our own poop.

And I looked, and behold a brown horse: and his name that sat on him was Deuce, and Feces followed with him.

The beach fucking blows. I can see the allure of some gorgeous white sand tropical paradise, of course, but the average touristy American beach fucking sucks.

I will take fecal matter (which is literally everywhere because people are gross) over brain eating amoebas every time.

We have beautiful white sand beaches here and since it’s an island, you don’t get a ton of tourists. They all head to Gulf Shores. So I’m hoping our beaches aren’t as gross as others that get a lot of traffic, but it’s not like the sand is dirty because people actually shit in the sand, right? So my beautiful beach could be dirtier than a less aesthetically appealling beach depending on water quality? That’s not very encouraging. *spends the rest of the night Googling water quality statistics*

Fecal pollution isn’t actually caused by people dookin’ in the sand, it’s sewage and farm runoff into the oceans, which washes back up onto the beach. There COULD be people dookin’ in the sand tho. People are nasty.

Glad I’m so pale that sunlight causes me to burst into flames immediately and thus beaches aren’t part of my life.

This is why I like zeee winter sports. Even if it’s sunny, such layers!

I will take winter and snow over the sun and sand any day. I like to think it's because I radiate sunshine and don't need any.

Seriously, fuck beaches. I spend about 3 months in FL every year for work and people always say, “Oh it must be so nice to be able to spend all your free time on the beach!” Um, NO. Beaches are terrible.

I went to Pensacola last month, and the sand on that beach burned with the anger of Hades midday. Any bacteria that could survive that would definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

Or the sand just blows you out of your chair and breaks your ribs.

Or the sand explodes underneath you and breaks your ribs, like what happened to Woman in Rhode Island.

The explosion on Saturday at the Salty Brine State Beach in Narragansett, Rhode Island, injured Kathleen Danise, 60, when she was launched onto nearby rocks. She suffered a concussion and broken ribs and was briefly hospitalized.

You don’t have to worry a thing’ll make you sick to think it’s gross as all fuck.

I don’t care about the beaches thing particularly, but that’s my defense for never sharing drinks with people. They probably don’t have diseases, but they definitely have spit!
