    Serena has been doing this shit for ~~~16 YEARS~~~. In tennis terms, that’s a fucking eternity.

    Martina Navratilova won her titles over the span of 12 years. Federer is going on 12. Sampras 8. Billie Jean King 8.

    And she’s playing better than ever right now, at age 33, which is absolutely ancient for a high level tennis player. Unbelievable. I feel a little bad for every other female tennis player on the planet.

    BTW: If you wanted a visual for TayTayTruther, that is me up there without quite the muscle definition. I am legitimately mistaken for her on the streets of New York. I just go with it. And that explains my vehemence when attacking the fuckery about her appearance in the media. They aren’t just dissing one woman, but many black women and other women with broader or more muscular physiques. We ARE feminine with the countenances we have. This is what a woman looks like, too.

      And when she won the first Serena Slam, all four wins came against her sister in the final. There was a time not so long ago that tennis was completely dominated by two proud black women from Compton, and the exceedingly racist WTA couldn’t do shit about it. It was glorious, and it’s probably the greatest American sports story of my lifetime.
