That he called the mayor a punk is kind of neither here nor there; that he called out a very clear broken promise from Cuomo is the real story. It’s very simple: appoint a special prosecutor. There’s no acceptable excuse not to and we should demand that the governor just fucking do it already.

Cuomo has been horrible about everything but seems to get a pass by everybody. DeBlasio on the other hand takes shit from everyone all because the white power structure was gently nudged (omg he pandered to the blacks and Al Sharpton). Why can’t Simmons just call out Cuomo who made h the promise?

He did call out Cuomo, what am I missing?

“And that was Governor Cuomo’s promise not only to me but to the people of New York State. And he has not done it. “

So if Cuomo made a promise to all of us that he has chosen not to keep (being the cop union bootlicker that he is) the an I guess we are all punks and bitches. Also even though Mr Simmons made a lot of money off of those words I thought he would know better.

That back turning shit was a tug of war between the elected mayor and the police, and de Blasio let that rope slip through his hands like a greased intestine. The prosecutor’s cosy relationship with the NYPD is a travesty.

It’s a ridiculous conflict of interest that shouldn’t have been baked into the system in the first place. But I guess even those who were elected to run the city and state are too afraid of the police union to take the obvious solution and hire a special prosecutor?

These comments are worth reading and talking about, and I apologize for busting a gut laughing because I first read that headline as “Richard Simmons.”

Richard Simmons later called Mayor de Blasio a “punkass bitch” quietly to himself before bed and added Bill’s name to his Arya Kill List.

Why the misleading headline? He’s saying he’s being treated like a punk and he’s being treated like a bitch. That’s a hell of a lot different than the headline you wrote. It’s still a newsworthy story without the deliberately misleading headline.

I will give you that he said de Balsio is being treated like a bitch, but Russell flat-out calls him a punk twice:

And Mayor de Blasio has not said a word because he’s a punk.

Our police commissioner is bullying our punk mayor

Ad hominems are not necessary if you have a valid point.

Huh? He said: “And Mayor de Blasio has not said a word because he’s a punk.”

Pretty clear he called the Mayor a punk...
