      I’m glad the dentist’s office reminded me that there would be a parade today when they called to confirm my appointment. Rescheduled! No way I was going downtown today.

    I got to be within a couple hundred feet of her today!!!!!

    My boss is horrified by this idea but I tweeted the Warriors asking them to plz ask Riley if she’s okay with being a bobblehead for one of next year’s bobblehead giveaway games. I just adore this child!!!

      Reminds me of the 90s when NBA Jam had secret codes for characters like Bill Clinton and the Bulls mascot. I would for sure play a game that had a secret unlockable Riley player.

      ETA: but only if it meant she could play one-on-one with her father.

    i’m all about this little kiddo (and her cute mama) getting screentime. remembering that these players are parts of families is important. buuuuut do you think some of the other players might like to be up there with the trophy for this parade?

      Eh, this is normal - not everyone can hold the trophy. I mean the Blackhawks have been pretty good about spreading the love with who gets to sit with Lord Stanley during the parade, but they’ve also had three goes at it. If the Warriors repeat their championship next year my hope would be that they would let someone else hold it.

      The other players were split up on about 5 other buses. They had to spread them out, otherwise the parade would have been over in 2 minutes.
