    What is it with some American people and kids? Kids are part of the community. Parents are part of the community. But people get so pissed when parents for one reason or another with or without privilege end up bringing kids to a “designated non-kid” space (of which there are many more here than in any other country I have even lived in and not for the benefit of the kids). Get over it people! Kids, old people, people with disabilities, they are all part of the community. They and their caretakers exist and live among us. Stop complaining every time you have to see one.

      I don’t know. I got irritated with all of the kids at Dave & Busters a few weeks ago. Take the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese and let me play my games in peace!

      There are situations where you shouldn’t bring your kid. For example, the theater. If your child cannot sit still and not talk for two hours you shouldn’t be bringing them.

      This however it totally fine and sports journalists sound like asses.

    someone had the gall to say steph was parenting poorly when he had riley there- on the contrary, steph didn’t let his (PERF ANGEL) child distract him from his job of speaking unless it was absolutely necessary. she was there. he was parenting. either he’s going to put all his energy into making a toddler sit still (lol) or he’s going to answer questions as riley simply fucking exists as a toddler.

    you’re not solving world peace, sports journalists. you’re asking one dude who plays a game about the game, or other dudes who play the same game.

      RIGHT???? She’s gonna move around. Honestly, letting her move around and explore, as long as she wasn’t in danger of having something fall on her, is totally fine and is better than holding her still and having her squirm around and start to cry and freak out. SHE’S A TODDLER.

      Can you imagine how much time he has to spend away from his wife and baby? His job keeps him away from his family for most of the year. I say, when the game is over, he has every goddamn right in the world to hug that baby and never let her go.

    I totally understand that they have a job to do, but come on this is silly! You’re asking them about what they just did and what you just saw. When you say, “Hey Steph! What was going through your mind when you were shooting that three?” Of course it’s gonna be that he hopes that it goes it and he helps win the game.

    She made the press conferences fun! I was pretty sad that she wasn't up to go out with her dad last night. Even the anchors were looking for her!

    ugh last night at dinner my bf’s older sister was complaining about riley. she said something along the lines of, “ugh who brings their kid to a press conference? don’t do that, that’s stupid.” i was like ughhhh who cares! why take those stupid press conferences super seriously!! it’s not like she was being rude or ultra disruptive. she’s a baby! she’s gonna do baby stuff! that’s what babies do!

      Also, apparently this is something NBA players do during playoffs. I’ve seen pictures of a lot of players with their adorable children at press conferences. I like it. Sports press conferences are boring as fuck, I want all pro-players with children to include them from now on. Then I’d actually watch them break down the game. Also, I find it super sweet.
