      Yeah, they are a couple I want to make it. Unfortunately, I have a terrible track record when it comes to picking couples. I let myself like one reality show, Newlyweds, and then look what happened to Nick and Jessica. Even my fictional faves are doomed, like House and Cuddy. Therefore, I can only believe that Jen and Ben are done because I want them to stay together.

      So help me if anything happens to my Bates/Anna and Carson/Mrs. Hughes ships on Downton I will explode! Can’t I just be happy?!

      It always kind of bothered me that she ended up with Affleck because I really thought she could have done better, like character-wise. She was with Michael Vaughn (her Alias co-star) for a minute and I thought they actually worked well together. Obviously my opinion does not and should not matter. It’s just one of those things from afar that you just sort of notice like, “oh...those two don’t really mesh well together.”

      Haha yeah I was thinking the same thing. Like, Foley wasn’t on the set of Alias, unless he was visiting or something during the first couple of seasons. And then she wasn’t with Ben...she was with Ben for like three minutes before they had a baby.

    I'm sad that she gave up her career basically to support his. I know her children are important, but the least he could do to respect her sacrifice is not act like an asshole.

      Some women aren’t sad about giving up their careers, so don’t be too torn up about it. She was a pretty mediocre actress who was good enough at fight scenes and typecast as a kickass spy. Pregnancies make that kind of work really hard, and she might not have been seeing scripts worth her time.

      Her husband, on the other hand, has been increasingly successful and his schedule is more and more erratic for the more productions he’s involved in both in front of and behind the scenes.

      I hope he's not a cheating asshole, tho.

    I’m always sad when people with young kids split up, you know? I know it’s better for them in the long run than having miserable but married parents, but it still isn’t easy.

    That said, this stuff about them goes around pretty often and it hasn’t been true yet. The “splitsville” article in the related items bar at the bottom is from 2008.
