Aren’t they the worst? They are human beings, as far as I can figure out, and they are probably in pain and so I want to have some sympathy for them but they are just such raging hypocritical assholes! I loathe them too much to feel anything but schadenfreude. A large part of it is that I just know that if Christians like them had a fraction of the power that Theocrats have in the Middle East, they would arrest or execute those of us in the LGBT community, just like they do in Saudi Arabia and Iran. But that degree of extremism isn’t p.c. here so they hide their hate and tell us they “love” us and that they’re just worried for our soul. And that of course we shouldn’t be treated badly but, a child deserves both a mother and father! They are dangerous, hypocritical fascists, who often do in private what they condemn in public.

And the hits just keep on coming:

A creationism activist suggested Josh Duggar be punished for molesting his sleeping sisters and their friends by being paid to campaign against LGBT people marrying one another.

That’s exactly what the 27-year-old Duggar was doing until Thursday, when he resigned his position with the Family Research Council after admitting to “inexcusable behavior” as a teenager.

“Since Josh molested girls, which could damage their trust of men, which could damage their future marriage, which could damage their future family, we should make Josh Duggar work the rest of his life to help families stay together and help them recognize how twisted the world is and how God offers instruction on how to live righteously!” said Hovind, who is affiliated with the Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.

“He should be forced to push faith, family and freedom in the public showing the Christian worldview has the answers,” Hovind continued. “We should force him to get a job at the Family Research Counsel (whose) mission is ‘to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview.’ That would be a great punishment!”

Eric Hovind — son of imprisoned creationist theme park operator Kent Hovind – said Duggar was the victim of a double standard by the media, which he said praised sins such as lust, abortion, and homosexuality but condemned “confession, judgment, and forgiveness.”

    Naturally, he blamed evolution.

“If evolution is true, then there is no absolute right and wrong,” Hovind said. “If evolution is true Josh should not have admitted his faults over a decade ago because what one evolved bag of molecules does to another bag of molecules just doesn’t really matter. If evolution is true there is no ultimate Judge on the bench who will hold every man, woman, and child responsible for their actions. And if evolution is true you will not give an account for every idle word you speak.”

Another creationist pastor, Ray Comfort, offered his support to Duggar – who joined him last year in a street preaching video stunt.

“Standing by my friend Josh Duggar, as a brother in Christ,” Comfort tweeted. “This was in his BC days. Such were some of us.”

Comfort apparently means that Duggar, who was reared in a Christian household, molested family members and friends before he became a Christian.

The New Zealander, who encouraged Duggar family friend Kirk Cameron to become an evangelist, said he would stop watching TLC — which suspended its popular “19 Kids and Counting” reality show after the publication of a police report that was hastily ordered destroyed Friday by a judge with political ties to the Duggar family.

“TLC knew about this back in 2006 and did not take the family off the show,” Hovind claimed. “Authorities that investigated the incident felt that it was handled in a way that no further charges were necessary.”

I think it’s pretty easy to suspect, since child molestation is pretty much never an accident.

“Josh’s parents acted in a way that godly parents should.”

If by “godly” you mean “putting belief in their own righteousness above both the well-being of their children and common human decency,” then ... actually, that sounds about right.

Jessa was one of the victims. This is fucked up beyond repair. It’s one thing to victim blame a faceless person but to do it to your own daughter-in-law is a straight up dick-slap to her.

If Arkansas weren’t so fucked up Josh would have no chance at political office but if he runs he will more than likely win, so, prepare to hate that.

There is absolutely no one on these girls’ corner. They are all going out of their way to protect the brother. They keep sending them the message that they’re not as important.

Ha! They went to church elders, then to a pedophile cop, then sent him to do manual labor in a Jesus camp. He was turned in because someone left a letter describing the events in a book — THAT person contacted police. Jim Bob put off having Josh talk to the cops as long as possible. He squandered time then lawyered up before going down there — and they let him piddle around because they’re a white, Christian family.

Interesting how the events seem to be so oddly limited. And that by the time he finally went in to talk to the PD, the statute of limitations had run out. They didn’t seek out help from the cops; they HAD to go talk to them, and they took as long as possible to do so. They did everything possible, including exposing their daughters to their molester on a daily and nightly basis, to avoid having their son face any real repercussions and kept him from quality counseling.

You know, I am beginning to wonder if that letter wasn’t “accidentally” left in that book, but as way of communicating with the outside world.
