Well I’m glad we put a stop to Josh’s political goals at least.

This hypocritical, sick f*ck. His parents are disgusting and the minors in that family need to be rescued.

I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.

Because it’s not like he didn’t ruin the lives of the girls he molested or anything...

Absolutely no empathy for his victims, almost like he doesn’t see them as people.

How long until one of the victims comes forward to spill details? And is it possible to be rehabilitated from wanting to touch little kids/little sisters? ...it’s not like he wasn’t old enough to know what he was doing.

He was 14 and I have to wonder given the household he was raised in , if you can assume he did fully understand in the same way a kid that is not home schooled and perhaps naiive/ ignorant, might. But then again he had to know that it was a sin of some kind. Ugh, so confusing.

What was it Momma Duggar said about that anti-discrimination ordinance in Arkansas?

But earlier in the week, matriarch and reality star Duggar sent out a profoundly misleading robocall about “some shocking news that would affect the safety of Northwest Arkansas women and children.” In it, she went on to assert that the ordinance “would allow men – yes, I said men – to use women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only” and stated, “Males with past child predator convictions [could] claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls. I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space.” And she asked, “Parents, who do you want undressing next to your daughter at the public swimming pool’s private changing area?”

Seems like she ought to be more worried about the danger her own child poses to young girls.

I mean, really? Like somewhere right now, packs of horny trans people are pawing at the ground, waiting for permission to use our restrooms so they can ravage our children and make them catch a big case of the Gay? LET US IN YOUR POTTY, WE HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH TO ENACT OUR NEFARIOUS PLANS!

This is why I fantasize about carrying a large salmon around the nation, and using it to just slap stupid dickbags like Duggar in the face. I should start a GoFundMe for that, actually.

Duggar also announced that he will resign as executive director of the Family Research Council.

Why am I not surprised to hear that this pervert is affiliated with an anti-gay hate group?

“he molested several underage girls—including some of his sisters”

It sounds like he was doing plenty of family research.

      I’m sorry.

“I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Because nobody else is suffering through your actions, right? Those girls, your sisters, are not having their lives ruined by molestation. Just you.

They are not even allowed to date, kiss, hold hands but they had to put up with their gross brother and their crazy religious parents, and somehow he is the biggest concern.

There is absolutely no concern for any of the girls in the Duggar’s Facebook post. It’s all about Josh. Fucking amoral pigs.

I tried having a discussion about this with my mother, who adores that godawful show and every similar show. It got to the point where she went full-on defensive about the family.

She questioned the sources. She said the police reports were probably doctored. She said that Josh had been forgiven by God, so why does it matter? She said that someone was obviously on a witch hunt. (Let’s pause to be clear: Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are offensive enough that no one needs to make up stuff about their kids to smear them.) And on and on.

It makes me nauseated to think about how hard my own mother is white-knighting these people with no sympathy for the victims. It breaks my heart. And I say that as a survivor myself.

Because it just isn’t bad enough that the victims were children, and some of them were unwilling members of what amounts to a cult...?

TLC was The Learning Channel which was founded and broadcast by NASA, Bravo used to show the opera, and The Food Network would give us 24 hour access to Giada De Laurentiis’ ample cleavage.

    TV used to mean something.

I’m hoping someone gets charged with something.

Though it looks unlikely given the statute of limitations and the fact that a judge has already ordered that the police department’s report be expunged to shield the identity of one of the victims who is still a minor.

A deeply cynical part of me is wondering if Ma and Pa Duggar pursued that action in order to protect Josh rather than their daughter.

If one of his victims is still a minor, that means she could not have been more than 6 years old when it happened.

      Wow.
