    I don’t understand how someone could get so fucked up by hate that they accept their different sexuality behind closed doors, yet belittle, hurt, and ruin the lives of those just like them. It’s sickening and far to prevalent these days.

    Nope, sorry, not on board with this...he’s not a lawmaker, not an activist, not any kind of public figure so far as I can tell...read the linked article, the extent of his anti-gay preaching appears to be two Facebook posts and one (online) comment to another pastor’s op-ed in the local paper...all of this sourced from some anonymous concerned citizen (i.e. someone at the church who found out and wanted him to suffer)...I’m not a fan of bigotry but I’m also not a fan of dragging everyone in the world into the public eye for their 15 minutes of shaming, I like my privacy and I would like it to be respected even if someone disagrees with me

      Hot Cheetos. A product that gives me the finger twice. Cheetos were my snack of choice along with Oreos. I have never had any tolerance for most pepper, but I developed severe acid reflux which means I can’t even have mild pepper. I then developed a severe milk allergy which means I have to avoid all dairy including cheese.

      Fuck you spicy Cheetos.

      I’m a believer in rehabilitation, but when you choose to walk the road of an actively hateful bigot while being fully cognizant of the impact of your behavior, you don’t get forgiveness without contrition.     I love this argument that being transgendered is somehow equated to being a sex offender by these virulent homophobes. Like a rapist is going to take the time to shave his body down, go through laser or electrolysis to remove his beard, find the time to pick out a nice dress and pumps, do his hair and makeup and make himself into an attractive woman ALL TO CRUISE AROUND WOMEN’S BATHROOMS AND RAPE THEM!!!

    That’s a LOT of effort for a sex offender. I mean, really.

      TG = Sex offender to them because they see anything that is not the heterosexual norm as part of a continuous spectrum of sexual deviancy. Everyone engaged in non-normative sexual activity is just on a slippery slope that ends with them raping people and molesting children.

      Note that actually molesters and rapists in the congregation will usually live the heterosexual norm in their public lives, so they will not be seen as sexual deviants after they are caught.
