    He didn’t call Scarlett a slut, he called her character a ho. Still a very Bro thing to do, but not anywhere as bad as actually calling a real,existing woman a slut. I think it’s sweet that he wished her co-worker a FIRST happy mother’s day.

      Yeah that line in sthe story bugs me.

      What’s the best thing to do after teaming up with another bro and calling your coworker a slut?

      It’s implying her used that term to describe ScarJo, which is not what happened. Was it still a stupid idiot mysogonistic thing to say? Yes, it was. But there is a world of difference between calling that to a real life woman with thoughts and feelings and dreams of her own, and a fictional character who only does what writers and actors make her do. For example, let’s say, i write a story where Black Widow goes to Africa and has sex with elephants. Am i saying that ScarJo commits beastiality?

      That never happened.

      He called a fictional character from a comic book and movie a slut.

      To think that this means that he’s a hypocrite for wishing his co-worker a Happy Mother’s Day indicates a level of knee jerk injustice seeking never seen before in human history.


      I can call Precious’ Mom a horrible sexual abuser without implying the same about Mo’nique, or taking away from my ability to wish Mo’nique a Happy Birthday.

        UGH, I hate that I’m defending this guy, since I don’t really like him, but I am. He didn’t call Scarlett Johansson a slut. He called the Black Widow character a slut. And wasn’t it a reference to fans pairing her off with everyone, not even the Black Widow as she is in the movies or comics? I don’t know. It was a stupid sexist joke, but it was just not that big of a deal. I can’t believe we’re still talking about it.

            He never refers to his own daughter by name either, always his baby or his little girl. I think it is part of distancing them from the public.
