    her burger was missing its requested bacon—twice.

    Totally understandable. WTF? Who forgets bacon? It’s like the most important meat. All good meals start with bacon and then moves on from there. To forget it twice is a travesty, if not a figurative slap in the face. So this woman was certainly challenged by their blatant insult and had no choice but to insist that they show bacon the respect it deserves.

    She’s a god damn hero!

    I bet she was a real bitch about it so they “forgot” it the second time. Kinda dumb, but nothing compared to shooting up a fast food restaurant.

    And I feel insanely guilty for having to return food if it’s been prepared incorrectly because I know it gets trashed, this puts things into perspective.

      Why would you feel guilty for returning food that isn’t what you ordered or is incorrect? That is entirely their fault, not yours, unless you forgot to tell them to do something a certain way. Plus, I’m guessing there are many, many times when one of the employees ends up eating the returned food.
