Many parrots love a ride in the car, but ideally they should ride in a secured carrier or travel cage. The part about the bird drinking coffee makes no sense though. Coffee/caffeine is well known to be potentially deadly to avians. It's on the list of forbidden foods for birds, along with avocado, alcohol, and chocolate. Parrot owners would generally be aware of this.

Pet harness and pet seatbelt can allow to take a pet for a ride. That's called responsible pet ownership.

I really, really want to see a parrot strapped into a tiny seatbelt.

Just seeing a parrot makes me want to be at some kind of beach party with Hawaiian shirts and drinking fruity mixed drinks. I guess we don't have to have Hawaiian shirts. And actually, I'd rather drink a beer than a fruity mixed drink. Now that I think about it, I don't even need to be at a beach party, and frankly I have no need for the parrot. Yep, I really wanna go home and drink alone in my recliner.

Our conure gets carsick (as in bird vomit everywhere) Only way to drive her anywhere is to put on a hoodie and let her nestle up underneath it.

My mom has 3 parrots now, because she says they will outlive her and she doesn't want to deal with anymore dead pets. They love to shriek and bite.

They should, some types can live up to 100 years.

Do they shriek and bite her? Or just everyone else? Parrots tend to fixate on one person and, unless well trained, can be aggressive toward everyone else. They can also be jealous little bastards. Only the person they're fixated on can train 'em to accept other people, too. No amount of treats offered will convince 'em to like someone without their owner's approval.

And, depending on the type and how old they are, they might outlive you as well. Macaws live 100+ years in captivity when well cared for. They're three generation pets.

I don't care if your pet is a dung beetle, it needs to be in a f'ing cage while driving. I can't how remember many times I've seen idiots drive like idiots because they did the idiotic thing and their idiot dog roam the car freely.

It isn't cute. It is stupid.

The parrot should have been driving the car in the first place.
