        Wow, that report just makes me feel even more conflicted. I feel like this woman is a victim (I'm referring to the rape, not the broken confidence), but she sounds like a really, REALLY broken person. How could you tell that story to some one you met 4 days prior in a church?

        I really hope she gets the help she needs, but I'm pretty sure the justice system will just throw the book at her.

        Weirder things have happened but this reads more like a sexual fantasy than the truth. I wouldn't be surprised to find that this story wasn't true or highly embellished.

        This is the type of over the top shit that people say to each other in sex chatrooms to turn themselves on.

        The fact that this is just a story at this point makes me highly suspicious.

      Wow, that's a story that would make even a mediocre parent feel like they are Parent of the Year.

      I don't understand the kids, either - at 16, I don't care how drunk or high I was, I would NOT have stuck around while a friend's mother played "naked twister" with me and my friends, never mind the "sex toys in the living room part". If I was ambulatory, I would have been gone. That part of my brain that factors risk/reward has served me well over the years, and the "creep factor" combined with the "this is going to end badly" instinct would have sent me packing. And that was in the pre-cellphone era, so there would have been no photo/video evidence. Honestly, the "adult providing the alcohol and pot" part alone would have felt like a trap.

      And odds are she violated Georgia's statutory rape law at some point during the evening, and then reportedly was sexually assaulted herself at the end. Wow. I can't even begin to figure out how someone's life leads them to the point where they set this in motion. There's enough work all around for a small army of therapists here.

      So where is that famed "mother's instinct" which is supposed to kick in before the child is even born and make all women with children wise sages who instinctively know what's best for their kids? That magically makes even the dumbest women responsible people with good judgement when their kids are concerned?

      I'm pregnant now and went to this mommy group thing, but everyone was talking so much about "instincts" and "you just know what's right" that I wanted to scream. I wasn't planning on going back, but maybe I will, and bring this article with me

        This is why I cringe when people try to talk women who don't want kids into having them with this "but it's natural and once you have that child, life turns into a sunlit meadow full of celebration and puppies!" crap. Some people shouldn't be parents. Some people can only be good parents by getting help for specific issues. This woman probably has a long history of damaging behavior.
