      Dear Author of “You’ve Been Publicly Shamed”,

      I am going to shame you, you rancid piece of trash. You know what rape is like, it’s like rape. I’ve been fired and I’ve been sexually assaulted (not raped). While both were not fun, they were wildly different experiences. Long story short, go fuck yourself, you goddamned waste of space.

        It’s hard to imagine that there could be a more stupid sentiment than equating being fired with being raped. Yet the author finds a way by implying that being fired is the male equivalent to being raped when neither experience is gender specific. I can’t imagine a male or female victim of rape who would describe the experience with “...it was a lot like that time I lost my job...”

        Ultimately though, it’s hard not to assume that was written with the specific intent of trolling for media attention. It’s such an overtly ridiculous comparison.

        Plus, once I got sort of fired because I had to take sick time during my two week notice period when I was going to leave anyway, so what I really got was a half day off and a breakfast burrito to celebrate. Firing can be fun! Rape, though, not so much.

      There’s a lot of coachella shaming going around, but I must admit I enjoy watching some of the sets on TV. I watched Drake last night followed by a 30 for 30 about basketball and dreamt of Drake all night. He was also a basketball player, soldier, charity worker, and my boyfriend. I was like damn, this dude does everything.

        Well the whole point of them heading to Armenia was to commemorate the anniversary. They are Armenian and are pretty proud of their heritage. I believe they have discussed the genocide on the show as well.

      Ok, I admit it. I rewatched the SNL Games of Throne spoof about 3 times in a row yesterday. Just to see the last scene with Leslie and Nikolaj. That was freakin’ hilarious and they should get her on the show ASAP. But then, Big Les should be on every show. So I might be biased.
