    White advanced upon sheriff's office lieutenant Heather Slyve with his machete, whereupon she shot him three times, according to The Guardian. Two bystanders were injured by stray bullets, including one TSA agent.


    So...She shot 3 times, and missed him 2 twice? And not only missed but hitting a person with both missed shots? I mean I just assumed, it says bullets. Kindof a bad percentage

      Or two of the bullets went through him and then struck someone standing behind... or, maybe he's so good with that machete that it was like WonderWoman repelling bullets with her bracelets or Beatrix Kiddo slicing the bullets in the air with her hanzo sword — 'cause that would be cool.

    I remember flying into Louis Armstrong Int'l one time. I got a hurricane in a go-cup and hailed a cab. The hack wouldn't let me in his cab with the cocktail. I swear, if I had a machete and some wasp spray ... I probably would've done exactly what I did, which was hop in the next cab, where the driver asked what the problem with the other cab was and laughed when I explained.

        Funny thing about the ones that are justified: they're generally (not always, but generally) pretty damn straightforward and transparent. In most justifiable lethal responses, cops don't have to mount a PR campaign in the press, leak the arrest records of the individual they've shot, malign his nearest relations, or read from a script about how they "felt threatened" and "feared for their lives." In a justifiable shooting, the facts usually pretty much speak for themselves.

                According to reports, all three shots hit the target three times, hitting him in the face, chest and thigh, authorities said. Sounds like she did what she is supposed to.
