      It really varies. I went to a college that got a lot of rich kids from Connecticut. Some of them were, indeed, utter fuckups or completely oblivious to the rest of the world. Some of them were absolutely normal. It seems to depend heavily on the parents and how they raised the kid. One kid, I was his supervisor, he always showed up on time, did a good job (and it was retail serving other college students) and never once bitched about anything. I had no idea his parents were rich until they rented him a yacht to cruise the lake on for his birthday.
