Hopefully there aren't parents who are taking parenting advice from Gawker (and I get that you are reacting to the new research study), but feeding a child whole peanuts is a major choking hazard and can cause lower airway obstruction. Go for peanut butter or other peanut products. The actual recommended age for introduction of peanuts is 7 years old. (Source: me, I am board certified in pediatrics)

    And back to snark.

Ha! But, seriously. Is the 7 year old age limit a new recommendation?

I'm curious - what are the current recommendations for when to introduce peanut butter?

How about don't fucking feed you unborn babies peanuts. Toddlers even until you are pretty sure they don't have a peanut allergy. And even then a little at a time until you are really sure.

All kidding aside, I grew up on Skippy Smooth because we were poor. That being said, I am allergic to nothing but marriage.

Is it a marriage allergy or just marriage intolerance?

True statements of fact. Also; peanut stews are superior to stews without peanuts.

I want to know who is responsible for that impressive artwork at the top of the post.

Why is there no graphic credit listed? Is the Photoshop artist too humble to bask in the glory of having created that?
