    The Minsk II agreement is a shit-show. The border stays open until 2016, which will allow Putin to continue sending materiel into Ukraine, and because the "pro-Russian separatists" weren't at the bargaining table, they'll have a tacit green light from Putin to continue fighting. Minsk II gives Vladimir Putin even more plausible (plausible if you're a dolt, anyway) deniability regarding any further violence from his side. The Ukrainians are the only ones who actually face pressure to hold up their end. And what it effectively means is that these fuckers get to keep taking territory, and Ukraine doesn't get to say shit about it. The country has been sold down the river by the West. Great job, Europe.

      Fuck the ceasefire. We should arm the Ukrainians and help them push back the Russians and these fucked up separatists back into Russia. And if it helps decimate some of the Russian Army, the better.

        I believe the technical term for a ceasefire by which at least one warring party refuses to be bound is "not a ceasefire." Perhaps a "pretty pleasefire."

          The notion that it means anything for Putin to sign an agreement would be hilarious if this situation weren't so fucking depressing already. I assure you, he's already had his bathrooms stocked with copies of this agreement to use as toilet paper.
