i guess if i had to go to walmart for black friday shopping, i'd make sure that everything i wore had spikes on it. my jacket, my pants, my hat, my gloves, my shoes, everything spiked up, and elbows out.

how far we've come from the quaint "open open open" mervyn's days of yore.

You'd be alone with that because most walmart shoppers wear a matching sweat suit with stains on them and mismatched socks and shoes.

Seriously, most of these deals are available online with free shipping. My wife and I got 95% of the shopping for our kids done last night, on the couch, using our phones. I got a bunch of insane deals, and everything will be delivered to my doorstep, including a full size trampoline and basketball hoop for FREE. Why in God's name anyone would subject themselves to this lunacy is beyond me.

I suppose shopping online is considered boring to them, and going to a store on Black Friday guarantees some free "entertainment" to record on their new phones.

Black Friday - has anyone been shot by the cops, yet?

No seriously, there is something seriously damaged in these peoples' chromosomes. I don't care if they're friends, family, nice co-workers who bring you eggnog. Black Friday shoppers need to be culled from the gene pool. They obviously have too much of the Neanderthal strain left in their DNA.

Let's just pull a Vlad Tepes, lure these people deep into the stores, seal the exits, and burn them all down to the ground.

    Consider it a cleansing.

Neanderthals were evolved past the idea of shopping and capitalism until a bunch of Black Friday shoppers murdered them for their TVs.

At one point very soon — maybe even today — somebody is actually going to be killed in cold blood at a Black Friday sale, and we as a society will have passed the point of no return.

you're about 6 years too late.

2008 black friday, long island walmart , a man was trampled to his death.

Looks like there are more camera people at these stores than shoppers. Do people go to these sales just to see if a fight breaks out so they can record it?

Black Friday combines so many of the things we as Americans love, camping, drinking, saving money and fighting.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. They'll be much mistletoeing and punches throwing and chugging of beer.

It's truly weird that this ritual augments a holiday called "Thanks-Giving". The gratitude and humility are just dripping from these folks.

My nephew is visiting. He wants to go on a tandem skydive. So, we're taking him this morning. Seems less dangerous than going shopping.

As someone terrified of heights, I'd rather go to Walmart. Godspeed, good sir.

Syracuse just closed a few. I heard that all the ones that closed are all rental places they didn't want to pay for anymore.
