    This was a plot line in one of the last seasons of Weeds (except with weed, of course), which had me rolling my eyes. I now stand corrected. I should have never doubted the soothsayer, Jenji Kohan.

      I don't know. In my social circles (of back in the day) the most popular person was the one with the most coke... So I can see why if (part of) your job is dependent on meeting rich fancy people and getting into the best clubs selling coke makes sense for non-cash reasons too
