Anna Kendrick is totally attainable by Luke Russert. He just didn't have the moves (or the tunes).

      Wait..."fantasize about," not "see."

I heard that the Apple class action case regarding iTunes is finally going to trial after about nine years. It relates to people not being able to sync music files purchased outside of iTunes, thus forcing people to purchase the same music file from Apple. They are still selecting a jury. One of the jury instructions is to omit any criticism of Steve Jobs.

I hate to be lawyer guy, but not mentioning Steve Jobs would not be a jury instruction. It would be a Motion in Limine, and the attorneys would be instructed not to mention Jobs in front of the jury.

This is, like, E-list, but I know for a fact that CNBC is doing a "likeability" study on Marcus Lemonis ("The Profit") and they're hoping to replace him by luring in one of the sharks from "Shark Tank."

Holy shit, I do have gossip. Old gossip, but it involves sex!

A friend of mine I met at girl scout camp used to live in California, and at 17, worked at a semi-swanky hotel. She was big into the punk music scene- especially Green Day. We're talking way back. Pre 'Dookie', early 90's era, back when the locals were just starting to talk about Green Day becoming sell-outs. She caught the drummer's eye at the hotel and he invited her back to the band's van where he gave her a rim job.

Tre Cool apparently enjoys a good ass-eating.

I love it when best-selling authors take huge fucking advances and then accuse the Kindle of strangling literature.

If the the $5 million advance is accurate? Fuck you, Franzen.

It's not about "being nice" to Kindle or Amazon.

Here's a man that has been writing think-pieces and essays about how literature is dying and yet he takes massive advances. These high advances keep the publishers risk averse and that dampens opportunities for new writers.

So, yes, if he is so concerned about the future of literature he should turn down the ridiculous advances. That's what Stephen King does. Stephen King takes no advances on his books anymore.

Secondly, turning down or insisting on a smaller advance wouldn't "take money out of his pocket" because advances are "paid back" to publishers from his royalties.
