    Oh, man. I think it was June of 79' when he used to stroll in with his posse of former Wild Style Crew and started causing a scene while blowing smoke in our faces. He used to taunt us with his giant fro while always ending his sentences with the world 'solid' followed by 'can you dig it?' People called him De Blasted because he was so high. I never forgave him for disrupting our debate league. Fuck that guy.

    Hell yeah, back in the Nicaragua solidarity days used to smoke up with BDB and Chirlane and talk about whether Sergio Ramirez was a better choice for president than Daniel Ortega. All the time. And then Bill would start yelling about how he hated the cops and couldn't wait to fuck them over, and outline his plots to kill George Bush and install a dictatorship of the pot smoking workers with Saul Alinsky as Chancellor.

      The last permissible/acceptable lie: no one ever believes any of these guys "experimented once" or "haven't done it since college"; no one believes the only drug they ever used was pot. But everyone knows that's the required line for a politician (no matter what lines they may actually be doing).
