  I don't get it either, but my gaydar sucks. If he's sexually voracious I can see him ... dabbling a bit, but that's not a full commitment (a term which, in regard to personal relationships, doesn't go along with the name "George Clooney").

  I share the same ac man, and handyman as Clooney and I can tell you he is supposed to be lovely, treats people REALLY well, is always on hand for the the workman and actually works on his house by himself A LOT. I always love hearing about people who are nice to the "little people" here because I hear so many stories about people who are monsters.But sorry. Can't speak to the gay thing. I can tell you that it probably is not a weekend if travolta is not at the weho bars, though.

Best I can do for you is that I heard Newsroom Cafe on Robertson suddenly closed down. If it's true then starlets who can't afford The Ivy will have to find another venue to be "spontaneously" photographed, and the paps will be inconvenienced.

  I'm not 100% sure. I was on the phone a couple of weeks ago with someone heading over there to pick up a sandwich and suddenly she exclaims "oh my god, it's closed!" I asked "permanently?" and she told me it looked that way. I still can't believe they'd shut down a restaurant that's basically a money-printing machine, but landlords sometimes get greedy (see also the former site of Cheesecake Factory in Brentwood).
  
  I hope it's not true, because those sandwiches are good enough to wash away the stench of the paps. I'll find out for myself next time I'm in town.

There is an old rumor that flew around CAA during my generation that Bradley Cooper answered an ad for anonymous sex and it happened to be this guy who was an assistant in the talent department. This was about ten years ago so I'm hazy on where it was placed. Anyway, the guy said that Bradley had a sheet up with a hole in it and had the assistant blew him through the sheet.

It was also "common knowledge" that Coops had an affair with Victor Garber while on Alias and that he was abusive to Jennifer Esposito.

All of his could be fiction. I have no idea.

  There was a closeted gay celebrity reddit thread and I swore it was Bradley Cooper. I think that one has been a blatant rumor for years. I obviously don't know his personal life but I think Hollywood is one of the friendliest places to come out, no? I mean, I'm a heterosexual in the south, so I don't understand his life or problems.

Rumor:

brad pitt and gywneth paltrow get a hotel room and still fuck, once a year. my apt neighbor swears by this, bc it is what his agent also swears by. another commenter said this was false for obvious reasons, but i have no idea what those obvious reasons are.

gossip:

i met v.stiviano last week. she is...nice. i can see why donald sterling is into her, she is vivacious and effervescent, the life of the party. also, i think she was coming onto me, ALOT , bc she kept touching my arm, and staring at me intensely like inches away from my face.

she came to the party with two unsavory characters though..the type that look like shady club owners.

Would you like some literary gossip?

1) Jennifer Weiner was addicted to amphetamines for a while. She started taking them because she felt so fat during the promotion of "In Her Shoes." She also felt the pressure to write a book every year while being a great wife and mother. Also… she really, really does not like other women. She positions herself as a feminist so that she can attack other female writers without being called out on it. She has a really terrible martyr complex, and can't stand it when other female writers receive praise in, like, high-class literary publications.

2) Karl Ove Knaussgaard was hitting on young, attractive publishing girls while he was in New York. But, like, duh.

3) Ayelet Wadlman's kids' teachers and fellow parents hate her because she is so insufferable and controlling. Michael Chabon is kind of a drip… I don't know, she dominates him and soothes his ego.

  Awesome scoop on Jennifer Weiner. I totally get a jerk vibe from her. And her book, The Next Best Thing was the worst thing I've ever read, so she definitely could have taken that year off. Anything on Jen Lancaster? Because she also seems like a huge jerk.
