One of my friends is having a giant Canadian Thanksgiving party all day. She's invited over 600 people and is making 3 turkeys. I'm going to get blasted. I'm not adding anything to the conversation, I just think it's awesome and am taking this opportunity to brag.

3 turkeys does not sound like enough turkeys for 600 Canadians. My sister is making 2, and there are 9 of us.

These are Americans. Last year 250 showed up. Many are vegetarian and vegan. 3 giant turkeys will be enough for this crowd.

I'd be outraged, too, except they also offer a "smoked meat burger" poutine on the menu. That items counterbalances the abomination (ok, I'm a little outraged) of the poutine with vegetables enough to render a protest unnecessary.

I'm all meh on poutine, but if you US Amercians are going to celebrate proper Thanksgiving then I recommend a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich.
