I hate everything about this outfit. That's quite possibly the least flattering dress she could have worn. And I understand what she was aiming for with the shoes, but I think it's a swing and a miss.

I totally disagree! I love this dress. Although, I'm not a big fan of the shoes.

Here eyebrows make my heart skip a beat.

That dress gives me the impression that it smells like an old attic.

This is exactly the sort of thing that I would own (minus the blister inducing heels, I am so sick of the studded trend). Yes, I realize that it obnoxious, and little old ladyish and vomit-like. I also love it and it is precisely the kind of dress that I would wear with a pair of old sneaker-boots in my everyday going out and about life.

No its not pretty. No its no "flattering." But its weird and lacey and colorful and tacky as fuck and comfy. I wan it. I wouldn't recommend it for a celebrity, but I would wear the shit out of it.

I would also like to add that the term "flattering" pisses me off so fucking much. Like what does that even mean? To me the definition eludes that there is a certain way that people's bodies SHOULD look and that if the article of clothing isn't enhancing that desired bodily perfection then its ugly. Fuck that. Fuck the way that bodies are SUPPOSED to look. Maybe I want to have a dress that makes my boobs looks small and saggy! Maybe I want my belly to look like a giant round pooch! What if I think it looks cool to have short stubby legs?!!!!! Who cares?!

      End rant.

I love this dress too! The colors make me happy and it looks comfy! I don't get what's unflattering about it, but then again I'm no fashionista. Would wear.

The dress and the shoes don't belong in the same conversation about fashion, never mind the same outfit. I don't dig the fit of the dress or it's tailoring on her. That said, I think it could be salvageable with a good tailor and appropriate accessories — including a belt (a color in line with the dress would work, so would a chestnut brown). Shoes I'd go clunky and full on 70s - almond toe clogs even, but not the rockstud (a shoe I otherwise covet in all forms).

She is always styled so age appropriately. I appreciate that.

Not wild about the shoes, but the dress is adorable on her.

It's sad, but I'll admit: I wish I had half the style instincts this girl has. Also, she seems so self-possessed.

She's adorable, but the dress is vomitrocious. It looks like it's made from Tibetan prayer flags that some douchebag hippie college student strung up in their co-op.

This looks like what happens when you let drunken kittens sew together pieces from your grandma's crochet box scraps.
