I like the variety of characters — something for everyone. Older readers once limited to dead-tree sex encyclopaedias will remember these two, who had very limited appeal:

      good gawd.

i can't believe people used to get off to a static image of a jpeg, or a series of .jpg's that tell a storyline. remember when imagination used to be enough. when was the last time any of you seriously got off successfully ( and efficiently) to a picture?!! not even a gif!

When you were a desperate and horny 12 year old boy in the 1980s, you took what you could get, although even I drew the line here. Mr. Hairy Hippie and his old lady seemed purpose-designed to prevent The Joy of Sex from becoming wank material.

I still can't believe you didn't know what pegging was.

Andy has, clearly, never listened to the Savage Lovecast.

I was once tasked with explaining what a reach-around was to a co-worker. I don't know why she asked me, when I was the only straight guy at happy hour, but hey.

Well, I mean, he IS pretty damn good. It's difficult, I would imagine, to illustrate sex acts, yet do it in such a clinical, detached sort of way. It's rather like the telephone book version of sex, isn't it? Or sex that has all the passion and satisfaction of the largest majority of my sex life.

Because I'm not very good at the sex thing.

There's an accusation on his Wiki talk page that he rips the images from video stills and photoshops to make them look like illustrations. I dunno shit about graphic design so I can't say, but the guy ain't without controversy.

They are clearly drawn over photos at the least, which is why he perspective and body shapes are always perfectly realistic. Personally I think that is a fine way to make art.

When I was younger, I entered the college library, pretended I was researching stuff, then slowly took the Joy Of Gay Sex book from off the Human Sexuality shelves and nervously thumbed through the pages, all the while afraid I would be discovered.

Kids today have it so easy.

When I was growing up, the smart kids usually browsed through the fine photography or 19th century nude painting books.

I understand gawker isn't exactly always SFW, but can we refrain from having a picture of two people fucking take up half the homescreen?

In 5 days I will be 45 years old. I was pretty confident that I'd seen a lot of stuff & done a lot of stuff. My life thus far has been lived & lived well...

But I have just seen & learned things that until this article I have never seen or known before. Several things.

I need a bourbon, a shower, a cigarette and a nap - but I'm not sure in which order!

I believe the goodbye phrase had nothing to do with cunnilingus being just a quote from Douglas Adams.

"So long, and thanks for all the fish" is a direct quote from Douglas Adam's "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." It's also the title of a book in the Hitchhiker's series, and is just a pretty common way to just say goodbye in certain nerdy circles.
