    I really do wish we could lengthen the school day so we could add in more recess sessions and gym class. Teachers, aides, and support staff would need to be paid more but I'd be ok with that. It's not going to solve everything but it would give some kids a relatively safe place to play and run around.

      I focus my two kids' energies on being outside, wanting to be outside, observing nature, fishing etc. Parents have to give the tools to want to be healthy, and I found outdoorsmanship is the vehicle for this.

      Not all parents have a great outdoors to be close to or the disposable income to drive out there and extra time, unfortunately. I think it's great when some families do though. :)
