Do any of those links say if the kid made it to "A-list"? I need to know if $120 gets you there.

I'd like to add that the Mom should definitely keep trusting an 11-year-old with access to hundreds of dollars, because there's no issue with that at all.

Someone call Child Services. Any parent that lets their kid play that game should have their children taken away. They are clearly not fit to raise a child.

Her writing is reason enough to take the kids away. Children should not be raised in homes that pretentious. It cripples them for later life.

This and for allowing your child to "weep his heart out" over spending $120 dollars. He should already be in the backyard doing yard work. Sorry son, you don't have any time for weeping, that rake isn't moving.

Just to summarize Why you are a bad parent Aylet :

    1. Your 11 year old has a phone. And not just any phone, a smart phone. ( I don't know who 11 year olds are calling.)

    2. The smart phone has the credit card information filled out.

3.You let the kid download a game without researching it first.

    4. Kid plays game unmonitored.

    6. You find out kid has made in-app purchases and you blame Apple and the Kardashians. What a winner of a parent! Lessons on how to pass the buck of responsibility so early on!

    7. The 11 year old does something bad and he cries profusely! I suspect he is treated like a 6 year old most of the time and throws mean tantrums.

    8. You tweet the hell out of this story.

    9. Kid is allowed to say "goddamn" in her presence and you think its cute, just as long as he "hates the Kardashians". Because the most important lesson is how to trendily hate the right people, amirite? Ugh, you have at least four children...

    10. Passing on self-entitled victimization to your children. America is going to hell.

She is a monster. People like this make me not want to have children so that my children don't have to grow up with children with parents like her.

I'm reminded of that article she wrote years ago about how much more awesome her son is than her boring, conventional daughters. Somehow I suspect if one of her daughters had made this "mistake," she wouldn't be quite so quick to declare that they couldn't possibly be responsible for their own actions.

Or, she could have just have dealt with this privately, and avoided all of this well-deserved mockery of her hysterics.

Wait, Macs are made specifically for people who aren't sophisticated with computers. That's like being sophisticated at using a calculator.

Having to make a "Sophie's Choice" is thrown around a little too loosely, in my opinion, but this truly is one.

Frau Finnegan! I have chosen, it is the Kardashians, may you give them no quarter.
