        That's the thing I never understood about corruption. You are relying on someone so inherently lacking in morality to the point that he is willing to bribe a public official AND expect him to have the integrity to keep it a secret the instant things don't go his way. Wasn't the old saying "lay down with dogs and you'll wake up with fleas" ever taught to these guys?
