So does nobody there know that there is a town in Mexico called "Death to Muslims"? That is what my co-workers who were from Matamoros told me. This was in the 1980's, way before the anti Islam fever started here. Can you imagine a town in the US called Death to the Moors, DeadMoorVille, DeathtoIslamopolis, talk about hardcore.

Well, yes, presumably because it's named after a city of the same name in Spain, or directly after Santiago Matamoros, St. James the Moorslayer. It's not great, but it's not just random Islamophobia, it's a remnant of Spanish history, which had quite a bit to do with killing and being killed by Moors at one point.

That was what I thought was interesting, they didnt say, Death to Moors, or Death to Black Moors, but Death to Muslims. I see that my coworkers and other residents understanding of history might be different, but they were so adamant that it stuck with me for 30 years.

"I poked a bit at it with a stick and noticed some of the Arabic writing and was just like, 'Oh boy.' I snapped a couple of photos and then went on our patrol."

That honestly sounds like something Cartman would say.

And yet, there are no photos in that article that show said Arabic writing. You'd think they'd be all "LOOK LOOK LOOK AT THIS", but no.

Are you ready to make the crossing tonight?

      Si.

      You have everything you need?

      Si.

Water, warm clothes for the nighttime, your food supplies....

Si. Bringing my Muslim prayer rug too.

Wait, what? You can leave that. You won't...I don't even know what you're...

No, I'm bringing it. My red one.

It's a good thing they didn't touch the shirt/rug. You don't want to get any Islam on you. That shit is worse than red wine stains.

I'm sure Muslims are like Cybermen or werewolves or something and getting too close to their stuff will transform you into a radical jihadist.

I've heard that Mexicuslims, a term I have decided is the official term for possibly Islamic Mexicans, can control your thoughts. Especially if you think about either gays or abortions. They do this by putting soccer on TV.

FYI, for those that don't know, I still can't believe Ben Shapiro has taken over the Breitbart empire. Classic case of a kid growing up who was pretty smart, and told so by the adults around him, and so felt that he could never, ever be wrong. Then he gets to college at the age of 16, and comes in contact with professors who are actually smarter than he is. Now, you could take that opportunity to grow and expand your mind, or you could do what Shapiro did, think all those "liberal" professors who didn't share his close-minded worldview must be wrong, and he must still be right, and then write a book claiming they were all trying to brainwash students.

Anyone remember the made-up "Friends of Hamas" bullshit designed to smear Chuck Hagel? Yep, another Shapiro original. Heck, I still remember when Shapiro wrote opinion pieces for the Daily Bruin, like this one saying Bush deserved the Nobel PEACE Prize for threatening to invade Iraq.

BTW, I also encourage anyone who hasn't done so, to read BuzzFeed's (I know, I know) exposé of the internecine battle to gain power of Breitbart's empire after he died.

Which is why this site below popped up to refute them, Plus Shapiro is now also at Truth Revolt which is owned and operated by David Horowitz.
