In a sane world, people would have stopped caring about Pamela Anderson after she crossed the 30 year old threshold and stopped being hot.

Her sole contribution to society was being a hot, big-boobed blonde bimbo. That's a service with a shelf-life.

I think she does a lot of animal rights stuff still.

'Her sole contribution to [my wank fantasies] was being a hot, big-boobed blonde bimbo'.

I think Pamela has a fairly fulfilling life outside of your dreams, for what it's worth.

So I missed the news that Pam Anderson had cut her hair. Apparently that's an old story. And I'm looking at this and talking to my kids (ages 16 and 12) saying "Can you believe this? She looks great. Look at her without her long hair?" just talking up a storm and my daughter comes in and says, "what are you talking about and who is Pam Anderson". Apparently I was monologuing to an empty room about a person I couldn't have explained to them, anyway.

I love her pixie cut so much. You can actually see her pretty face. It's so refreshing. Then I scrolled down and saw Jenny McCarthy's hair and thought, "are black streaks a trend?"

I was just out for a walk listening to 'Rumors' wishing that the first time I heard the album was in the 70s, living in the Hollywood Hills, spinning in my mid-century abode Stevie style.

Also: Jenny McCarthy's face and thoughts scare me.

I did listen to it for the first time in the 70s, on an 8 track, in a Gremlin. So pretty much the same level of glamour.

Free advice for Pamela Anderson: It's okay to not get married. Maybe marriage just isn't for you. Think about it, k?

I think when you are rich and have lawyers getting married and divorced is fairly easy. I mean that's not a good reason, but it would explain a lot.

Resplendent.husband and I laughed about our wedding theme being "The Triumph of Optimism Over Experience" because it was a second marriage for both of us.

Pamela Anderson must be the most optimistic person on the face of the planet, to get married, not once, but twice, to Rick Salomon, to say nothing of her other nuptial adventures.

She seems pretty fragile, at least when it comes to men. There was a great/interesting/revealing article about her in Elle a couple months ago: http://www.elle.com/pop-culture/ce...

Thanks for linking - that article was all of those things. And I read through it expecting her to be a textbook case of BPD, but dammit if by the end of that article, I wasn't rooting for her. Amazing.

I read the Chrissy Teigen quote as "I don't take yodeling very seriously." Which is crazy, because yodeling is intense.

It really, really pisses me off that they gave her that line and then spelled her name Poussey. There is no accent à droite in Poussey. It drives me insane.

Isn't he (King Salomon) the guy who directed, produced and co-starred in that Paris Hilton.. uhm, indie film? I've never see it because I enjoy the other flavors in life.

Also, I thought that picture of McCarthy was Madonna. I wonder who was the more craycray when she was with Jim Carey.

I have a friend who is a media trainer, specifically for live television. If needed, she will recommend that her clients enroll in a course, or hire a professor or lawyer, to help them develop critical thinking skills.

While anyone can attempt to practice critical thinking, an instructor can teach a number of frameworks that help students organize their thoughts and ensure they address an issue from a number of perspectives.

I think some school board in Texas just banned "Critical Thinking" classes from their curriculum, so we know what the wingnuts think!
