She is such an embarrassment to the great state of MN. And this lawsuit is more "block everything Obama does because we're the party of no" nonsense from the Republicans.

She is an embarrassment to the assholes who voted for her in her district. If only each and every one of them could be forced to give an explanation.

Between this and Megyn Kelly's calling out Cheney, it looks like Fox News is seeing how siding with the post-Bush GOP establishment will play with its audience as 2016 approaches.

I thought it was determined that the Cheney interview was setup so he could expound on all his talking points? In the end, Megyn Kelly was deferential to her male interviewee, as any self-respecting Republican woman would know to be. We just saw a different manifestation of the proper male-female dynamic play out in Neil Cavuto's disrespectful takedown of Michele Bachmann.

The sense I got was that Fox and Kelly were opportunistically trying to make a show of being "fair-n-balanced" while distancing the party from Cheney, who hasn't had to good grace to retire and do arts and crafts like his fellow toxic asset, Prince Bush.

Obama is using executive orders to pass substantive law, which is only allowed by Congress under the separation of powers clause of the Constitution. Congress suing the president is the only way to stop this.

Between this and Megyn Kelly dismantling the Cheneys last week, I'm starting to lose my center of Fox News gravity. That's disturbing.

ETA: I googled Megyn Kelly's name to make sure I was spelling it right, and the top three autosuggestions after her name were "Megyn Kelly salary", "Megyn Kelly age", and "Megyn Kelly feet".

    ????

There are over 400 members of congress and 100 senators, why the fuck would you pick Michele Bachman to be on your show? EVER?

I think the male hosts at Fox are just hoping she'll do their show topless one day, just like she used to do on her old public access cable show. She's probably starved for attention too. I mean let's be honest, Marcus isn't hitting that.

Maybe they should instead... pass a law... that lowers the reach and capability of executive orders. But they would never do that, would they? 'Cause the moment there's a Republican in the White House they'll want to use the same executive orders just the same way Obama is rightfully using them.

Um, no. Remember "balance of power" and "checks and balances" from your civics class? That's why it's total bullshit. We have a Constitution.

And we have laws giving the President/Executive Branch these powers of executive order. If the Republicans don't like that capability of the Office of the President, they should vote to change the laws giving said branch of government those powers. But they won't, because they want to use them the next chance they get. Until then, they'll bitch and moan and act like this is something Obama invented out of thin air to make this a more socialist/communist country because they used to use them in Kenya where he grew up.

That was my point: the President using executive order is by no means something Obama made up out of thin air and thus the Republicans' ONLY matter of "recourse" is to act like it's a bigger deal than it is.

If there are unlawful executive orders being signed, those in particular should be examined and addressed as necessary, which I would wholeheartedly support. But saying that passing executive orders is an abuse of power is complete and utter fabrication/outright lying to incite unwarranted rage.

The sad thing is, there are so many other Republican candidates who also get a direct line to God and get His endorsement as well. Bush comes to mind.

This could make things awkward if Bachmann joins Fox after her final term is up next January. Not as awkward as 300 million laboring Americans shuttling along on a fading trajectory of summer malaise, spent of fuel and hope, as Congress shirks its fundamental responsibilities, but still.

You have such a good knack at getting poetic at just the right times. Well done.
