    Totally aside from this asinine Lohan stuff, I just feel kind of bad for the people who have to be there to confirm the truth to him at some point in the future; when James inevitably finds out he's not funny or interesting to everyone in precisely the same way that he thinks he is.

      What?! I would love to be among those people. Love. Unfortunately, if my work in arts and entertainment is any indication, it is unlikely that this day will ever come. There are many washed-up assholes who still - despite the lack of work and respect - think they are super-talented geniuses. I think J.J. Franc' will eventually join their ranks.

      For a while now I've had this theory about Lindsay Lohan, which has been cluttering my tiny brain for no reason, and I need to get it out of my system, and this seems like the right place. Here goes: the reason she went off the rails was to shake off her family. She couldn't get any sort of publicity or success without someone from her family trying to step into her spotlight, whether through some sort of tabloid-y adventure or a lame attempt at show business. Therefore the only way she could get them to stop trying to mooch off her and get their own lives together was for her to trash her own career. I know this seems like I've spent too much time thinking about this but something in her strikes a chord. There. It's out of my system. Thank you.
