        One aspect that someone brought up is that 67% of Nevada land is federally owned, and the land in question is subsidized for these farmers to graze their cattle on. Now if only the Koch brothers bought this land and leased it back to Mr Bundy would he be happy with the deal they offer. Or maybe they would set up a pet coke processing plant. How long would it take for Mr. Bundy to call the FLMB or EPA? The sputtering fool

      Not sure I get the point of this post. The libertarian/conservative beef with government welfare is about the coercion involved — the taking of others' money via the threat and use of violent force.

      These dudes are asking people for donations. There's nothing hypocritical about what they're doing. Indeed, their reliance on voluntary contributions — rather than money extracted from strangers at gunpoint — is perfectly in line with their worldview.
